Great food and friendly staff

After leaving our Thanksgiving stay at some resort 🙄 day after Thanksgiving my family and I decided to stop by for some breakfast at the only place we saw. Let me just say this, both my daughter & her husband could not have been happier! Not just was the food delish!! The ambiance of the ‘ol transformed train, small but absolutely warm and inviting, served the best coffee I’d tasted in years. And the food; breakfast, was delish! What sealed the deal & prompted me to write this review was how absolutely lovely & friendly the two women who served us were & the ‘ol Motown Music station that was playing. Took me back to my childhood. I have Never reviewed a restaurant till now! You will Not be disappointed!

Awesome iced coffee (with some pretty interesting flavor options like salted caramel and raspberry). Good spot for a fresh wholesome brunch.

We've been coming to Bolton Beans for years and have never been disappointed! This morning I ordered an omelet that I believe was called the Senora and it was amazing!

Slow services and they just give you black coffee and then you add the cream and sugar.

Always good food and friendly atmosphere. We return every year we're In town. A true turn of the century diner. One of our favorite spots!

Went in at 9 am for breakfast, they don't sure black tea. Husband ordered bacon, they ran out, how do you run out of bacon at 9 am? The waitress, who was not pleasant, said they didn't expect to be this busy. Really? It's Memorial day weekend. The waitress never came back to us to see if we wanted a refill or anything else, another waitress got us our check. Would never spend my money in there

Great food, small place

We came on a not busy day with a party of 5, and for some reason it took like 8 min to seat us. Prices are good, 6 - 10 dollars. Coffee is good, the latte was great. It's cozy inside, it only holds around 35 people total. They pump out the food pretty fast. I got scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, and french toast. The hash browns are crispy not oily, which is nice. Yet my food came out kinda warmish/cold (mainly the French toast) over all everyone liked their food. I will come back.

Great mom and pop dinner in an old train car. They specialize in good coffee so be sure to try some. I had the Choice salad and my husband had a ham and cheese on white. Tasted like home.They close at 2 so it's a great place for breakfast and lunch.

If you have a hankering for diner food in a real life diner that looks like a dining car (and if you haven't ever had that, you're missing a real New York experience), then you should come here! Good food, fresh and fast, friendly service... Yummy.

An original railway 'diner-car'. Food is ok. I would recommend mainly for the aesthetic... But for that only, it is worth visiting.

Good food but SO expensive. We bought a ham and cheese sandwich for 11.50...normal size, nothing special and came with a bag of chips. 4 sandwiches, 3 drinks =63 bucks! We were desperate to feed the kids or we would've kept looking.

Great place and service. Coffee was great and food fantastic. Highly recommend. Will come back again.

Went there for breakfast with a group of ten. They were short staffed and did the best they could. Mostly a staff of kids and they weren't very versed in their positions. Food was good and saw the eggs being delivered fresh even though no fresh daily apple cider donuts were available.

What a delicious stop for breakfast. We checked out of our hotel in Ticonderogia and stopped here for breakfast on the way home. Be even though it was very crowded, it still wasn't a very long wait. The food was delicious and filling, the almond milk latte was so good I ended up getting one to go for the car ride. If we are ever in the area I would definitely return.

When visiting Lake George we typically eat breakfast at Bolton Beans. The staff is very friendly, the food is good and while they get orders to the table pretty quickly, you don't feel like they're rushing you out the door.

Still the best breakfast in Bolton Landing. Excellent egg dishes, try the super potatoes mexi style or the hangover helper with the fresh salsa. Very homey feel inside, worth the wait.

In previous years, I would’ve given 5 stars, but this year the staff was rude/unfriendly at times, and they raised their prices recently (I understand that’s a necessary part of business, but $1 for 2Tbsp of salsa is ridiculous- homemade or not). Nevertheless, it’s a great breakfast spot with good food, an extensive menu and great coffee!

Had a great Hangover breakfast wrap today. No hangover required. Was large and my friend could only eat half of her's. Get the fresh salsa it makes it great. Filled me up and tasted right. Don't skip getting it grilled it keeps the Tortilla hot and crispy. Sorry for not posting a pic ate it too quick.

A great throwback diner in a beautiful village right on Lake George. Had the Hangover Helper burrito. Did the trick. Southwestern omelet got rave reviews. Sabroso.

Awesome brunch, atmosphere and service. We were lucky to have live fiddler's around 2 in the afternoon but!

Small, historic diner with great food and staff

Not impressed with the food. Service was decent at best. My drink glass stood an astounding 3 inches tall. Also not pleased that I had to wait for this experience. Not going back 🙁

Everything here that we had was great Espresso was on point and strong. Critique would be that the service was slow, but that's ok because the servers were very attentive and the sign warms you on the way in that good food can't be rushed. I expected a bit of a wait. The restaurant is in an old train car. Kids loved it.Long story short, this is worth the trip. Eat like a local and stop here before you head back home!

In under 8 minutes I was seated sipping a delicious espresso and how in down on the Adirondack Hungry Man plate. I opted for real maple syrup and the blueberry upgrade to my pancakes. Worth every penny! I cut wait to come back to this vote diner for another amazing breakfast! Thanks!

Absolute gem of a spot in Bolton Landing. Food is great, ambiance is great and make sure to try the house specialty, Chipotle baked beans!

Our favorite place to stop on our way home from our annual Adirondack vacation. The food is excellent. It's not diner food, far better. You won't find a better iced coffee in town. We highly recommend Bolton Beans!
